Research
Background:
There is the flood plain of
abandoned channel of Yellow River in the northern region of Jiangsu
province. 10m thickness of sediments is deposited in the surface
layer. The sediments are mainly made up of silt and silty fine sand,
and some soft soil. The loose structure and low strength as well as
high seismic intensity give many problems to build expressway.
Main research contents:
First, research on engineering
geological properties (geological characteristics、properties
and geologic zoning ) of subsoil in the flood plain of abandoned
channel of Yellow River.
Secondly, research on
strengthening technology of silt subgrade; Engineering properties of
silt; experimental research on dynamic property and strengthening
technology of silt; placement technology of silt subgrade; slope
defending technology of silt subgrade; research and development on
hardening agent of silt.
Thirdly, optimizing design of
ground treatment; harm analysis; numerical analogue on failure form
of embankment in several typical seismic loads and analysis on
liquefaction damage to construction; optimization of ground
treatment method.
Fourthly, deformation
analysis of subsoil; deformation characteristics analysis;
settlement
computation method and design method for deformation stabilization.
